The United States Embassy in Guatemala has announced that its Embassy in Guatemala City is moving to a new visa services provider from September 23, 2024.
Through a statement, the Embassy has revealed several new changes of which applicants should be aware of, VisaGuide.World reports.
The Embassy said that if the applicants’ interview is scheduled on or before September 12, 2024, no further action is needed. They may continue to access their account at ustraveldocs.com in order to review their appointment details and contact customer services as necessary.
Those whose interview is scheduled between September 13 and September 20, will no longer have access to their account at ustraveldocs.com after September 12, 2024.
This means you will not be able to cancel or reschedule your appointment after September 12, 2024, and will have no access to customer service. You should print your appointment confirmation letter before September 12, 2024, and we strongly encourage you to attend your visa interview if possible – if you fail to appear for your scheduled interview, please check here on or after September 23, 2024, for instructions on rescheduling your appointment.
Those who have a scheduled interview for September 23, 2024 or later, will no longer have access to their account at US Travel Docs either. It means that they will not be able to cancel or reschedule their appointments after September 12, and will not have access to customer service.
