Citizens of Oman who want to reach Türkiye by land via Iraq have been reminded that they must obtain a multiple-entry visa for Iraq.
To make sure that all Omanis are well prepared and do not face any inconveniences, the Embassy of Oman in Iraq urged everyone not to forget this important requirement, VisaGuide.World reports.
As Zawya explains, through an online statement, the Embassy explained the procedure for getting the visa and provided additional information on the matter.
In its statement, the Embassy of Oman in Iraq said that Omanis who will travel to Türkiye by car through Iraq can get their visa upon arrival at the land border corssing points or through the embassy prior to their travel date.
The visa needs to be added to the passport, and travelers must have their passports stamped so there is evidence of their entry and exit from Iraq.
Since Omanis traveling to Türkiye by land via Iraq will have to pass through the same road when returning back, the authorities stressed that it is important that everyone obtain a multiple-entry visa.
A multiple-entry visa for Iraq permits entry to the country several times for as long as the visa remains valid.
In addition to obtaining a multiple-entry visa for entry to Iraq, Omanis reaching Türkiye also need to apply for Türkiye eVisa in order to be permitted entry to the Turkish territory.
