Qatar’s Hamad International Airport Considered World’s Best Airport

Hamad International airport in Qatar is the world’s best airport of this year, in the list of the world’s top ten best airports.

The list has been published by the aviation rating firm, SkyTrax, while introducing the winners of this year its annual World Airport Award, in which participated over 500 airports, VisaGuide.World reports.

According to the ranking, the following airports have occupied the first ten positions for this in the list of SkyTrax:

  • Hamad International Airport, Qatar
  • Tokyo International Airport, Japan
  • Singapore Changi Airport, Singapore
  • Narita International Airport, Japan
  • Incheon International Airport, South Korea
  • Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, France
  • Munich Airport, Germany
  • Istanbul Airport, Turkey
  • Zurich Airport, Switzerland
  • Kansai Airport, Japan

The list shows that three airports in Japan occupy the first position in this list. At the same time, three European airports have also been placed in the first positions; Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in France, as well as the Munich Airport in Germany, and the Zurich Airport in Switzerland.

Besides, the list shows that the following airports have also been ranked among the first positions in SkyTrax’s recent lists.

Hamad International Airport, Qatar

Hamad International Airport in Qatar has been selected as the winner of this year’s World Airport Awards. The primary airline is Qatar Airways, while the airport hosts a passenger train for travelers in order to reach their terminals quickly.

In this regard, Chief Operating Officer at Hamad International Airport, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said that authorities in the airport feel thrilled that Qatar’s main gateway to the world has once again been considered the world’s best airport at the World Airport Awards for this year.

“Our commitment and service excellence continues to be a benchmark in the aviation industry thanks to our staff and stakeholders’ commitment and dedication – as we all look forward towards an even brighter year ahead,” he pointed out in this regard.

Tokyo Airport

Tokyo International airport, also known as Haneda Airport, has been ranked in the second position in this year’s awards.

Skymark Airlines, Skynet Asia Airways, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, and Air Do are primary airlines. The airport also won awards for being Asia’s best airport as well as the world’s cleanest airport.

Singapore Changi Airport

Singapore Changi Airport, Singapore Jetstar Asia Airways, Scoot, as well as Singapore Airlines are primary airlines. Besides, the airport also won awards for having the best staff in the world as well as the best dining options.
