Since then, our political and diplomatic relations have developed normally, which is what we want, which is for our relations to be strengthened. We are currently working on building other areas of cooperation.
Minister Gonçalves highlighted several other sectors of cooperation, such as agriculture, energy and mineral resources.
These are areas in which our two countries have the potential for expansion, and we hope that, with the presence of the new Colombian ambassador [to Mozambique] who was recently accredited on October 16, our relations will continue to consolidate and strengthen, especially in terms of their economic and commercial aspects.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 16) held in Colombia from October 21 to November 1 under the motto “Peace with Nature.”
