Georgia introduced a digital nomad visa, known as “Remotely from Georgia,” in 2020. This visa is available only to the citizens of 95 countries which can enter Georgia visa-free— it allows them to extend their stay even longer.

You apply for Georgia’s digital nomad visa online, through the official visa portal. You just have to:
- Prepare the required documents. Gather the documents and scan them before you start the online application. You will have to upload them electronically to the online application.
- Complete the online application. During the application you have to fill out all questions with the required information about yourself and upload the documents you prepared.
- Wait for approval. Once the application is processed, you will be notified via email. You will receive an answer within 10 days.

What Are the Required Documents?
When applying for Georgia’s digital nomad visa, you have to prepare the following documents:
- Passport valid for at least three months.
- Proof you work remotely:
- Work contract, or
- Certificate of incorporation.
- Health insurance certificate. You must purchase an insurance plan that covers you during your entire stay in Georgia.
- Proof you have enough money–$2,000 monthly income or $24,000 savings:
- Bank statements, or
- Income tax returns, or
- Employment contracts.
