Kazakhstan and Morocco have revealed the date on which the visa exemption agreement between both territories will take place.
The new decision is set to take effect on March 19, 2025, for holders of ordinary passports, VisaGuide.World reports.
The date for the implementation of the new agreement came following a meeting held in Morocco between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita.
The coming into effect of this agreement reflects the spirit of friendship and the excellent relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Kazakhstan, in line with the Guidelines of the two Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Through a statement, the Ministry said that the agreement aims to further promote tourism and strengthen interpersonal and intercultural ties between both territories while boosting trade exchange.
Morocco’s decision came following similar steps taken previously between Morocco and Türkiye and Morocco and Azerbaijan that took effect on August 28, 2024.
