A total of 1,000 Gold Cards have been sold in the United States within a day, the US Secretary, Howard Lutnick has said.
To obtain a golden visa through the recently launched US program means to make an investment of at least $5 million. Therefore, the 1,000 golden visas granted in a single day, bring $5 billion to the US in 24 hours, based on the US Secretary’s comments, VisaGuide.World reports.
In addition, on the “All-In Podcast”, Lutnick said that people are lining up to benefit from the Golden Visa Program.

He also said that those obtaining the new Gold Card will be considered permanent residents of the US, without being required to pay global tax.
If you are a US citizen, you end up paying global tax. So, outsiders will certainly not come to the US to pay global tax. So, if you have a Green Card, now a Gold Card, you will be a permanent resident of America (without paying tax). You can choose to be a citizen, but you don’t have to be… None of them will choose to be one (so they can avoid paying global tax).
Attempts to Sell a Million of Gold Cards
Recently the US President, Donald Trump, announced the launching of the new Gold Card scheme, which would be a replacement for the EB-5 program that offers permanent residency to those who meet the needed conditions.
In spite of the fact that the minimum amount required for investments made through this program is significantly higher than the one required for the EB-5 program and other countries that offer similar schemes, the US President called it a bargain.
The US Secretary, Howard Lutnick, on the other hand, said that based on research with the Trump administration, there are 37 million people in the world who are capable of obtaining a Gold Card.
In addition, Lutnick said that the US President believes that a million Gold Cards can be sold. He added that the funds generated by this program will be used to reduce the United States’ fiscal deficit or national debt.
