Kazakhstan has introduced the Golden Visa Program for wealthy foreign investors, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has confirmed.

It means that wealthy foreign nationals will be eligible to obtain residency in Kazakhstan provided they make investments of at least $300,000 in this country and meet the required requirements, VisaGuide.World reports.

The new visa permits its holders to apply for a residence permit for more than ten years in the future. Authorities in Kazakhstan aim to help the further development of the country’s economy, while also developing sustainable international economic ties.

New Neo Nomad Visa for Wealthy Internationals

In a bid to attract a large number of wealthy foreigners, Kazakhstan has taken several measures, by introducing several programs to attract internationals. Among them, the Neo Nomad Visa.

The Neo Nomad Visa of Kazakhstan targets internationals engaged in various fields, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports announced.

The visa targets tourists working remotely in various fields, from programming, marketing, and finance to consulting, design, and e-commerce.

The new visa permits foreign nationals to live in this country for more than 12 months while working for companies or clients located in other countries.

Back then, the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, Yerbol Myrzabossynov, said his country is now part of the travel map for modern nomads.

There are over 35 million such individuals globally, and we aim to create all the conditions to attract them to our country. Moreover, the cities of Almaty and Astana are already among the top 150 cities attractive to neo-nomads.

To benefit from this scheme, wealthy foreign nationals are required to meet some of the needed conditions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan mentioned that similar programs are offered in several countries worldwide, stressing that the country has now decided to follow its own path, offering its own model of investment residency.

Based on the Passport Index of VisaGuide.World, which ranks countries based on their sustainability for remote work, Spain is the world’s best country for digital nomads.

Spain is followed by countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Montenegro, Bahamas, Hungary, Canada, Romania, Portugal and Brazil among others.

The Digital Nomad Visa Program differs among the countries offering these schemes.
