Starting November 18, rules for benefiting from Kazakhstan’s visas for several categories will be easier.
The new changes have been confirmed through a statement provided by the Foreign Ministry, VisaGuide.World reports.
The simplified visa rules, according to the Ministry, will benefit those interested in Kazakhstan’s B9 Visa, Digital Nomad Visa, and Neo Nomad Visa.
The Foreign Ministry also announced that the list of required documents for a C5 business visa has also been reduced, while the minimum marriage duration for family reunification visas has also been shortened from three years to one.
The new amendments aim to improve the investment climate, tighten international cooperation, and also attract skilled professionals, according to the Asiana Times. The Ministry also aims to boost the country’s tourism by attracting a large number of foreigners.
Changes to B9 Visa, Digital Nomad Visa & Neo Nomad Visa
The Ministry of Kazakhstan announced that easier rules would be applied to the B9 Visa, Digital Nomad Visa, and Neo Nomad Visa, more specifically.
The B9 Visa of Kazakhstan is dedicated to representatives of the most sought-after professions, which permits further registration of a residence permit.
The Digital Nomad Visa allows foreign workers to work remotely from Kazakhstan for companies or clients located outside the country.
At the same time, the Neo Nomad Visa is a tourist visa issued by authorities in Kazakhstan to foreign tourists who work remotely while traveling across countries. This kind of visa grants extended stays for those with a verified monthly income of $3,000 or more.
The Neo Nomad Visa was introduced on November 1, 2024, by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

As for the C5 Visa, this kind of visa is issued to those traveling to Kazakhstan or residing in this country for labor purposes as well as to their family members. This kind of visa is also issued to those traveling or residing in this country for employment purposes in different fields.
Citizens from a large number of countries are required to apply for a visa first in order to head to Kazakhstan. Simultaneously, Kazakhs are also subject to visas when planning to travel to many foreign destinations.
