China has decided to remove the visa requirement for citizens of Poland in an effort to attract more foreign visitors to the country.
As Chinese President Xi Jinping confirmed, Polish citizens will be able to enter China without the need to apply for a visa for stays of up to 15 days, VisaGuide.World reports.
While the Chinese authorities did not share any other additional information, visa-free entry will apply to all citizens of Poland traveling to China for business, tourism, family visits, and transit purposes.
As for Poles who want to stay in China for a period of more than 15 days or for any other purpose under which visa-free entry is not permitted, they must undergo the visa application procedures.
The decision of China to permit visa-free travel for citizens of yet another EU nation comes as part of the country’s attempt to fully recover its travel and tourism figures and become one of the leading destinations in the world.

China Has Lifted Visa Requirements for Several EU Countries Since December 2023
In a move to promote exchanges between Chinese foreigners and attract more visitors to the country, China has dropped the visa requirement for citizens of several EU countries since December of last year.
In December 2023, China dropped the visa requirement for passport holders of France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain.
In line with the visa-free policy that China has, citizens of all these EU countries are permitted visa-free entry only for stays of up to 15 days for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit purposes.
The visa requirements for these countries were initially lifted only for a limited period of time. However, seeing how effective this measure is, China said that all citizens of the EU countries mentioned above will be able to enter without a visa until December 31, 2025.
