How to Apply for a Pakistani e-Visa?
Applying for a Pakistani e-Visa is straightforward. The application process is as follows:
- Access the official PAK e-Visa website
- Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
- Login to the Pakistan Online Visa System.
- Complete your application. Fill in all information accurately.
- Pay the Fee through a Credit Card or Debit Card.
- Submit your Application.
Important: Online applications can only be submitted at the PAK e-Visa official website.
How Will I Receive My Pakistani e-Visa?
You will receive the electronic travel authorization, which you will use to travel with, in your inbox.
Do I Have to Print Out the Pakistani e-Visa When I Travel?
Yes, you do. Once you receive the notification that your application has been approved, print it out. You must present it at border control.
What Documents Do I Need for a Pakistani e-Visa?
To apply for a Tourist e-Visa to Pakistan, you must have the following documents:
- Your passport must be valid for at least six months.
- One photograph with the right requirements.
- Invitation Letter by the sponsor or hotel booking details in case of individual tourist.
- Invitation Letter in case of a group by the tour operator designated by the department of tourist services.
To apply for a Business e-Visa to Pakistan, you must have the following documents:
- Your passport. Your passport needs to be valid for 6 months to prevent you from overstaying in a foreign country.
- One photograph. The photo must be taken within the last three to six months (depending on the country issuing the visa).
- Proof of registration of the company which has invited you (SECP/ Chamber of Commerce Certificate).
- Any of the following:
- Recommendation letter from CC&I of the respective foreign country.
- Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned trade organization in Pakistan.
- Recommendation letter by the honorary investment counselor of BOI/Commercial Attaché.
- Invitation Letter from the Reko Diq Mining Company (In case of Reko Diq Project).

How Long Does the Pakistani e-Visa Take to Process?
It will take around 48-72 (working) hours for your Pakistan e-Visa to be processed.
How Long Is the Pakistani e-Visa Valid For?
The Pakistani Tourist electronic travel authorization is valid for 90 days. Nationals of Malaysia, Turkey, and UAE may be granted a 30-day, multiple-entry visa upon arrival. Whereas the Business electronic travel authorization to Pakistan is valid for 90 days. The maximum amount of days you can stay in Pakistan with both types of visas is 30 days.
Can the Pakistani e-Visa Be Extended?
Yes, you can extend your Pakistan e-Visa. You have to apply for a new e-Visa, and then select ‘Extension’ as the application type. You will have to submit all documents, including supporting documents such as: the letter of invitation and hotel booking.
