  • Select the type of travel document/passport (Diplomatic, ordinary, service/special/official, travel document for stateless person),

How to Apply for a Georgia e-Visa?

The application process for a Georgia eVisa is as follows:

  1. Fill in the online application form. Enter your personal information, such as your citizenship/country of birth. Select your travel document/passport. In the case of dual citizenship, you must select the same passport that you plan to travel with. Upload all necessary documents.
  2. Make the payment. After you have completed the first part of the application, you will automatically be directed to another part of your application which is the visa fee payment. You must pay the necessary fee within 5 hours, otherwise, your visa will be cancelled. You will, then, be required to start over with your application.
  3. Receive your Georgia e-Visa. After you have successfully made the payment, it will take approximately 5 working days for your visa to be processed. After it is processed, it will be delivered to you.

How Will I Receive My Georgia e-Visa?

You will receive your Georgia e-Visa in your email address. Therefore, make sure you write down the correct email address and one that you have access to, as your visa will be delivered to your email address. You do not need to visit the embassy or consulate in order to collect it.

For example, you can present: Bank statement from the past three months, a reference from your employer stating your position and income, a document proving possession of real estate, and a letter from a sponsor which should be dated and signed and include the name and surname of the sponsor, address, contact information, relationship between applicant and sponsor, place of destination and duration, list of costs covered by a sponsor.
  • A document that proves the purpose of travel. You will only need this document when you are at the border.

The submission of any false document/information may lead to your visa being denied.

How Much Does the Georgia e-Visa Cost?

The Georgia e-Visa costs 20 USD, including a 2% service fee that you have to pay. You must pay the fee within 5 hours after you have received the notification in your email. If you fail to pay within 5 hours, your visa will be canceled. The visa fee is not refundable.
