Each registration will receive a confirmation number for the 2021 fiscal year, and cannot be used to track the status in Case of Status Online.

“Prospective H-1B cap-subject petitioners or their representatives are required to use a myUSCIS online account to 1) register each beneficiary electronically for the selection process and 2) pay the associated $10 H-1B registration fee for each registration submitted on behalf of each beneficiary,”

the USCIS reads.

It also explains that prospective petitioners or their representatives will be eligible to submit registrations for multiple beneficiaries through a single online session. They will also be able to prepare, edit and store draft registrations before final payment and submission of each registration.

If the number of registrations is considered enough by USCIS, registrations will be randomly selected, and the USCIS will send online notifications to users via their USCIS accounts.

All the applicants will be informed by March 31, 2020.

The H-1B visa aims to help companies find temporary workers who graduated from university, and it’s also known as a Person in Specialty Occupation Visa.

Through the H-1B overseas foreigners are able to work in the US in different fields such as IT specialists, professors, lawyers, doctors and similar professions.

The Person in Specialty Occupation Visa requires applicants to have at least a bachelor’s degree, and a contract of the job with an employer in the US.

In 2018, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services informed that the pilot testing phase of the electronic registration process has been successful and introduced the implementing of H-1B lottery for the 2021 fiscal year.
