Ukrainians Can Soon Travel Visa-Free to Mongolia and Argentina

Ukrainian citizens will be able to travel to Mongolia and Argentina without any visa requirement as a result of two separate deals reached between the government of Ukraine and the two latter countries.  

Ukrainians will have the right to visit these two countries for 90 days for 180 days, VisaGuide.World reports.

According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Oleksiy Honcharuk, the government approved two protocols between the government of Ukraine and the government of Mongolia and Argentina, which provides an increase in the term of visa-free stay of Ukrainians in the two countries.

 “The government approved two protocols between the government of Ukraine and governments of Mongolia and Argentina, which provides the increase of term of visa-free stay of citizens of Ukraine in the territory of two countries twice,” Honcharuk pointed out.

Mongolia and Argentina aren’t the only countries that benefited from the visa-free regime.

Previously on February 6, 2018, Ukraine signed an agreement with Antigua and Barbuda to lift the visa regime between both countries.

The agreement has been signed by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly and Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda to the United States Ronald Sanders at the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington.

Another lift of visa regime Ukraine has signed on July 12, 2019, with North Macedonia.

The agreement was signed between Ukraine’s Ambassador in North Macedonia Natalya Zadorozhnyuk on behalf of Ukraine and the North Macedonian Minister for Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov on behalf of North Macedonia.

Whereas, on December 24, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine facilitated the traveling process for the citizens of Colombia and Ecuador.

Citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will also be eligible to travel to Ukraine for another year without passing through visa procedures according to the latest decision of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

This decision will be applied on a temporary basis from 31 January 2020, to 30 January 2021.
