Complete guide to applying for a Slovakia transit visa, the required documents, the eligibility criteria, and FAQs

A transit Schengen visa is required for non-EU/EEA nationals who have to land at an airport in Slovakia in order to take a flight to their non-Schengen destination country. The Slovakia transit visa allows foreign nationals to pass through the country to their non-Schengen destination country without having to leave the airport’s transit area.

The length of the authorized stay corresponds to the time necessary for the purpose of transit.
